Over the curse of my career as a fitness trainer I’ve gone through countless online newsletters, magazine articles and videos all proclaiming to offer the best workout to flatten abs or burn belly fat. They all have on thing in common: the exercises they recommend are for the most part, too advanced for most people.
The problem here is that if you start out with an exercise that is too advanced for you, you will abandon it in no time. The sheer magnitude of the challenge will defeat you. So, start out with something relatively easy and work your way up. Start with an exercise you can do for 20 to 30 repetitions and do it every other day. Master that particular exercise before you go on to more advanced ones.
The exercises in this routine are ones that got me started. They allowed me to build a sound foundation on which to grow. They can do the same for you.
