REDUCE PAIN NATURALLY WITH MEDITATION

According to an article in Shambala Sun (March 2012), subjects in a Wake Forest study were able to reduce their pain intensity by 40% and the sensation of unpleasantness of their pain by 57%! Compare these amazing results to the 25% pain reduction rating of morphine (Journal of Neuroscience).
In the study, 15 volunteers who had never meditated before attended four 20-minute meditation classes. Their brain activity, while a pain-inducing heat device was placed on their leg, was measured before and after the meditation session.
